The story behind the brand
The story begins in Brittany in the small fishing port of Binic, where Père Eugène, a well-informed fisherman and gourmet who couldn’t find what he was looking for in the grocery store, decided to make his own fish dishes.
Years later, his descendants had the idea of sharing the delicious fish recipes handed down by grandfather Eugène. And they dropped anchor in Binic with a workshop specialising in seafood products: Le Grand Lejon, the last curing and smoking fishmonger in the port. Père Eugène represents the flavour of traditional cooking, the taste of fish and the delicious texture of Breton dishes.
